Community video editing and mixing for Wordpress.

Tuesday, August 19, 2008, 02:37 PM GMT [General]

Imagine putting up a video and then someone else being able to add to it, edit it or remix that video to create something new and more exciting.

Imagine no more.  That time is here thanks to a company called Kaltura.

The best part for me is that they just released a plugin for Wordpress making it almost a no-brainer.  Plugins are also planned for Drupal and other CMS apps.

So ... want to see how it works?

    Want to try it out.

Click the link > Edit and Remix Video

The best part - It's free software released as Open Source.

Don't forget to leave a comment. (even a video comment).  BTW .. You'll find the link to the plugin in the comments on the page above :)  I love it.

The potential applications for business are huge.  You could use it for video testimonials, feedback and many other uses I haven't even thought about yet.

So the Triple Listing Exists! Is 3 better than 2?

A quirk of fate led me to finding this on a site I set up for a family friend.  Not thinking straight after a long day, I typed the domain name into search by mistake.  Hit return and Bang.  Or should that be OMG  :-0

Did this catch my eye or what?

And then on further investigation I noticed the quirk.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

BTW for you marketers reading.  Michele is a really nice, genuine, painter and teacher who has written a great beginners guide and 101 tips for painters.  If any of you have the capacity to market it for her, get in touch with me via PM.  Filming and producing of some 'how to paint videos' has been booked over the next three months or she can supply to a membership site.

And so a new era begins

Saturday, March 22, 2008, 09:48 PM GMT [General]

There was a time years ago, when the concept of having man walk on the moon was considered impossible.

There was a time not so long back, when 4Mb of RAM and 3.1 was enough to run a business.

There was even a time when I thought I was lucky to find one result in the available search results!

    Oh how times change :)

I'm looking forward to meeting lots of new friends who can see the benefits and advantages that the teams at TZ and 20/20 bring to the community.

Good luck all and Happy Easter.  Things are going to get interesting.

    Kev
